Terms of Service

The rules for using Evi and evi.rest. By using either, you agree to them.

Updated October 18, 2026

The short version

01

Evi and Discord

Evi isn't made by, endorsed by or affiliated with Discord. Client mods change how the Discord app works, and Discord's own Terms of Service don't allow modified clients. Discord rarely acts on mods that only change how the app looks and feels, but it could, up to suspending your account. You use Evi at your own risk, and you're responsible for following Discord's rules.

02

Who can use it

You need to be old enough to use Discord: at least 13, or older where your country says so. You need a Discord account to log in to evi.rest, and you're responsible for what happens on your account.

03

The software

Evi is free and open source. Its code is under the license in its GitHub repository, and these terms don't take away anything that license gives you. Evi updates itself and its plugins automatically to keep working as Discord changes.

04

Plugins and themes

Some plugins and themes in the store are made by Evi's developers; others by community authors. We review community submissions before they're published, but we can't promise any of them is free of bugs, and community authors are responsible for their own work. We can change, pause or remove anything in the store at any time, for example when it breaks or breaks the rules.

05

What you post

You keep the rights to plugins, themes, reviews and anything else you submit. By submitting it, you let us host, show and distribute it through Evi and evi.rest, and you confirm you have the right to. If you submit a plugin or theme, you also agree to keep its code readable and reviewable; we may reject or remove it without giving a reason.

Don't submit or post anything that:

  • steals data, tokens or accounts, hides what it does, or contains malware;
  • automates your account (self-bots), spams, or helps anyone break Discord's rules against other people;
  • is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexual involving minors, or infringes someone else's rights;
  • impersonates someone, including Evi's developers or Discord.

06

Badges, collectibles and Sparks

Badges, collectibles and Sparks only exist inside Evi. Sparks have no cash value: they can't be bought, sold, traded, transferred or exchanged for money. Things you get with them are a license to use them in Evi, not property. We can change prices, collectibles and how Sparks are earned, and we can take away Sparks, items or badges that were gained through bugs, abuse or a broken rule. Codes work only as long as they say, and only once per person unless they say otherwise.

07

Don't abuse evi.rest

Don't try to break, overload or get around the limits of evi.rest and its API, fake stars, reviews, installs, crash or health reports, or reach data that isn't yours. Found a security problem? Tell us privately in our Discord server instead of using it.

08

Bans

If you break these terms, we can remove what you posted and ban your account from evi.rest, for a while or for good, with or without warning. A banned account can't log in, link installs, review, star, submit or wear Evi badges and collectibles. You can always stop using Evi and ask us to delete your account.

09

No warranty

Evi and evi.rest are given to you for free, “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep them working, but Discord changes all the time, and we can't promise they'll always work, be available, or keep your data forever. We can change or stop any part of them at any time.

10

Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, Evi's developers aren't liable for any damage that comes from using or not being able to use Evi, evi.rest or anything in the store, including lost data and action Discord takes against your account. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that can't be limited.

11

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for big changes post about it in our Discord server first. Using Evi or evi.rest after a change means you accept the new terms. How we handle your data is in the Privacy Policy.
